Mélange de Blanc and The Bridal Council Unite to Reimagine New York Luxury Bridal Fashion Week with a Central HUB
It is with great excitement that we share the following news… Mélange de Blanc, New York's leading luxury bridal tradeshow, is partnering with The Bridal Council to launch a reimagined, all-encompassing New York Luxury Bridal Fashion Week — bringing the world’s top designers, buyers, and media together under one roof.
Set to debut April 2026 at Manhattan's iconic Starrett-Lehigh Building, the unified market will encompass runway shows, trade exhibitions, and private showroom presentations in one expansive, design-driven venue located on two floors in over 100,000 sq feet of space. The goal: to deliver a cohesive and elevated experience that reflects the evolution of today's global bridal market.
Unified bridal market venue at Manhattan's Starrett-Lehigh Building to debut April 2026
"We've heard the same feedback for years during meetings led by The Bridal Council and our internal calls with designers and buyers: New York Bridal Fashion Week needs cohesion," said Kimberly Marcoux, co-founder of Mélange de Blanc. "Buyers are exhausted from crosstown sprints and scattered showrooms—it's not sustainable. Everyone misses the days when designers were under one roof at the Piers. We're bringing that spirit back, as a service to the industry, but in a modern way that serves both today's brands and tomorrow's audiences."
The new venue directly addresses a longstanding challenge within the bridal industry — the fragmented nature of the current market. The Starrett-Lehigh Building will now serve as a centralized hub for connection, discovery, and growth, allowing the community to experience the week in a more unified and impactful way.
"This unified location marks a transformative chapter in the legacy of New York Luxury Bridal Fashion Week," said Michele Iacovelli, executive director of The Bridal Council. "For decades, New York has been the heartbeat of bridal fashion. By bringing everyone together under one roof, we're not just simplifying the market—we're elevating it.” “This new home celebrates the artistry, innovation, and global influence that define our industry and ensures that New York remains the ultimate destination for bridal design." said RachelLeonard, editorial director of The Bridal Council
The partnership builds on Mélange de Blanc's continued momentum. Last season, The Fringe Collective announced its move to Mélange de Blanc, bringing a roster of inclusive and sustainable designers that expanded both the show's reach and creative range. With interest surging, conversations are already underway to welcome additional bridal markets, international brands, runway presentations, and partner showcases for 2026.
The inaugural New York Luxury Bridal Fashion Week at Starrett-Lehigh will include curated presentation spaces, immersive installations, and a dedicated runway hall built to align with global fashion-week standards.
Full dates, brand partners, and special programming will be announced in the coming months.
Mélange de Blanc bridal market will host its October 14–16 NYLBFW trade show in its current space, featuring beloved couture designers, debuting new international talent, and unveiling beauty activations in partnership with Macy's Herald Square.
