10 Questions with Justin Warshaw for the Launch of the New Poeza Collection

Justin Warshaw-CEO & Creative Director Justin Alexander

1) What is the story behind the new collection?

Poeza was inspired by Shakespeare’s Sonnet 116. The name is derived from “Poezja” which is the Polish word for poetry, poems. Poeza is a verse a bride wears. Poeza transforms the gown from a garment into a verse of her story, composed in fabric, spoken through form, and remembered forever. A verse, one part of a poem, subtly reflects Poeza’s name and essence: each gown a tangible expression of the moment she carries into forever.

2) How long have you been contemplating this launch and why now?

We pride ourselves on curating a portfolio of brands that complement one another, and this brand fits seamlessly within it. There is a bride who isn’t drawn to maximalism or trend- driven silhouettes. Instead, she gravitates toward something more understated and intentional—what many would describe as quiet luxury. She seeks a gown that feels deeply romantic, almost as though it carries a sense of history with it. Vintage-inspired design has always held a special place in bridal fashion, yet we felt that no brand within our family was truly speaking to her in the way she deserved.

3) What differentiates this collection from the others?

While other collections are more fashion-forward, edgier, and trend focused, Poeza was designed with intention. Poeza was created with a focus on exceptional fabrics, impeccable details, and precise tailoring. The brand combines a timeless bridal approach with subtle, modern yet distinctive fashion design elements, resulting in a signature that feels both refined and understated. With

customization options available, each gown can be uniquely tailored to reflect the bride's personal style.

4) Describe how you see this Poeza bride you are designing for.

The Poeza bride is drawn to intentional simplicity. She values uncompromising fabric quality, precise tailoring, and refined, simple shapes. Her style is quiet but deliberate, timeless with a soft sensibility that forms a distinct classic signature. She is less interested in making a statement and more in wearing something that feels precise and considered.

5) What kind of silhouettes and fabrics and styling are you using?

Our designs feature contemporary, avant-garde embroideries accenting modern silhouettes, embodying modern minimalism with luxury craftsmanship. The fabrics we are using include exclusive jacquards and embossed silks that feel couture but read modern and subtle. Low-sheen fabrics like double-faced satin or textured Mikado with unique finishes to support the understated aesthetic. Crushed fabric, plissé or shadow-dyed fabrics to introduce depth and artistry without overt patterning.

6) Where will they be produced?

Production for the collection takes place with our trusted partners in China and Myanmar. These relationships have been built and nurtured over many years, and their expertise in bridal craftsmanship plays an important role in bringing our designs to life. We work closely with each partner to ensure the highest standards are maintained at every stage of production. Every gown undergoes a thorough quality control process, with multiple inspections focused on construction, fit, and finishing. This collaborative approach allows us to maintain the artistry and attention to detail that brides expect, while continuing to work with production teams who understand our standards and share our commitment to quality.

7) What will the retail price points be?

Poeza bridges the gap between mainstream high-end bridalwear and unattainable couture. With retail prices ranging from $4,000 to $7,500 and a curated offering that combines personalization with luxury at an attainable price point, the brand caters to discerning brides who value quality without overspending.

8) Will you be approaching different retailers?

Poeza is built on an invite-only model. We're offering a premium, personalized experience with 80 trusted luxury retailers worldwide, ensuring each partnership reflects our commitment to luxury and craftsmanship. It's about quality over quantity, ensuring our brand remains prestigious without limiting access to the product.

9) When is the launch date?

We are debuting the Spring/Summer 2027 collection, Chapter I: Dawn, at New York Luxury Bridal Fashion Week this April.

10) What will your ad campaign be like?

The creative direction embraces minimalism, allowing the gowns themselves, their fabrications, silhouettes, and textures to become the narrative.
