1. "The Ancient Beauty" evokes a sense of timelessness—what specific era, culture, or icons inspired the aesthetic of this campaign?
“The Ancient Beauty” collection was inspired by the timeless elegance of Greco-Roman and Persian influences. I was drawn to the strength and femininity of ancient goddesses and queens—icons who embodied grace, power, and beauty that still resonate today. The aesthetic blends soft draping, structured silhouettes, and intricate details to reflect that sense of history while keeping it modern and romantic.
2. What message or emotion were you hoping to convey to brides through this concept of ancient beauty?
With Ancient Beauty, I wanted to remind brides that true elegance is timeless. This collection is about embracing strength, grace, and femininity in their purest forms—qualities that have transcended centuries. My hope is that each bride feels like a modern-day goddess: confident, radiant, and deeply connected to something greater than a trend. It’s about celebrating the beauty that’s always been within her—powerful, enduring, and uniquely her own.
3. Can you walk us through the creative process—from initial inspiration to final visual execution—of bringing this campaign to life?
The creative process for Ancient Beauty began with a deep dive into the past—we explored the art and architecture of Roman and Persian cultures. We were inspired by the strength and grace of timeless icons like goddesses and queens, and how their beauty was rooted in both power and softness.
From there, we translated those ideas into fabric and form—playing with draping, structure, and texture to reflect that duality. Every detail, from the silhouettes to the hand-finished embellishments, was designed to feel both regal and ethereal.
Visually, we wanted the campaign to feel like a modern myth—soft light, natural textures, and a sense of serenity that ties it all together. The setting and styling were kept minimal to let the gowns speak for themselves and to keep the focus on the bride.
4. How did historical influences shape the gown designs featured in the campaign? Were there any signature elements you reinterpreted in a modern way?
Historical influences played a key role in shaping the gowns. We reimagined classical elements—like Grecian draping, high-waisted empire silhouettes, and ornamental details—through a contemporary lens. The goal was to design gowns that feel effortless, empowering, and completely relevant to the modern woman.
5. What role do storytelling and heritage play in your work as a designer, particularly in this campaign?
Storytelling and heritage are at the heart of everything I do as a designer. Each gown I create is meant to tell a story—of love, tradition, and individuality. With the Ancient Beauty collection, that storytelling became even more meaningful as we drew from rich cultural histories and timeless icons of femininity.
As someone with Persian roots, it was important for me to weave in elements of my own heritage while also celebrating the universal beauty found in ancient civilizations. This campaign is about connecting past and present—reminding brides that their story is part of something much larger and deeply rooted in strength, grace, and tradition.
Through design, fabric, and silhouette, we aimed to create pieces that feel both meaningful and empowering—gowns that allow each bride to step into her own legacy.
6. In a world chasing trends, what makes "ancient beauty" feel more relevant than ever for today’s bride?
In a world constantly chasing trends, Ancient Beauty stands out because it taps into something enduring. While styles may come and go, the essence of true beauty—grace, strength, femininity—never fades. Today’s bride is looking for more than what’s “in” right now; she wants meaning, connection, and a gown that reflects who she truly is.
Ancient Beauty feels more relevant than ever because it honors the past while celebrating the present. It reminds us that elegance doesn’t need to shout to be seen—it’s in quiet confidence, thoughtful details, and the story behind each design.
