THE CAMPAIGNS: House of Idan
House of Idan is expanding its IDAN collection with a high-energy campaign shot by iconic fashion photographer Walter Chin. The collection, which balances the brand’s couture DNA with a fresh, accessible price point, will be a focal point for retailers at the Chicago Bridal Market at theMart on March 15-17, 2026.
To separate IDAN from the "sea of sameness" in the contemporary bridal market, Creative Director Deborah Moses developed a narrative that leans into personality and humor. The goal was to maintain a visual identity that complements the House of Idan’s couture line while speaking directly to a younger, meme-savvy demographic. "This collaboration exists at the intersection of two shared instincts: a love of fantasy and a refusal to be limited by reality," said designer Idan Cohen. "Walter Chin and I speak the same visual language. What unites Walter and myself is a shared devotion to fantasy — creating images that feel imaginative, intentional and unapologetically removed from reality.”
“Couture lives in fantasy and so does this collaboration; we share a devotion to imagination, crafting worlds where artistry leads and reality quietly falls away." "We had a lot of fun creating this campaign," said Moses. "The challenge was creating a narrative to introduce a second collection with a new price point that would be launched at the same time as Idan's couture collection. I was concerned that the brand only has one social media channel and website for both lines and wanted to keep the identities separate but complementary.”
The campaign moves away from traditional, static bridal imagery, opting for a "wink and a nod" to the bridal experience. By pairing Walter Chin’s high-fashion photography with playful taglines, the expansion covers a stylistic range from "girlish charm" to "sexy coquette. Moses added. "This generation loves a good meme and so we leaned way in to delivering a smile.” For more information on the collection, contact Saundra Chung at saundra@houseofidan.com or James McAlvanah at james@houseofidan.com.
