It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Vassar, legendary wedding aficionado and one half of The Wedding Guys.

Vassar was best known for his expertise and ultimate desire to elevate the world of weddings. From serving as a mentor to industry newcomers, to producing bridal shows and wedding focused fashion events across the nation, Vassar played a pivotal role in reinventing the wedding industry. His sincere advice and wise counsel allowed wedding businesses to achieve the dreams they had set for their companies, and his words of wisdom will forever be unforgotten.

Apart from his extensive industry experience, Vassar’s personal philosophy revolved around the empowerment of others. Vassar was a teacher, role model and a positive influence to others - he offered incredibly supportive encouragement and pushed others to succeed. His kind soul paired with his impeccable sense of fashion, sophistication and compassion is what made him a visionary for the industry. His generous heart and gracefulness have changed the world for the better. Vassar will be remembered with love for his kindness, selflessness and utter desire to help others succeed, as well as his immense contribution to the Bridal Industry.
