PONYTAILS

We saw many variations of the ponytail on the Golden Globe red carpet last night. They were all placed higher on the head and not as messy and tussled as we saw in the fall of last year. Additionally, the textures of the ponytails were all very clean and not as beachy-soft as last year.

CLEAN, CLEAN AND CLEAN HAIR

The one common thread, no matter if the hair is up or down, is clean – And clean, sleek hair was the biggest trend we saw on the red carpet last night. Depending on the outfit and look each person was aiming for, all hairstyles were clean and polished with no messy texture.

EVEN WHEN LOOSE, STILL CLEAN

Even with a loose soft up-do, such as Emma Stone’s look from last night, the texture was still clean and finished.
