Pier 92/94 Cancels Its New York Trade Show

This cancellation is only for the Pier 92/94 New York Trade Show.

It does not affect NY Bridal Fashion Week, The Knot Couture Show at the Metropolitan Pavilion and designers & brands showing at The London & other NYC hotels or individual designer showrooms.

The Bridal Council has contacted Michelle Mailand, Director of Sales at Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc. and received the following statement: 

"It is with deep regret that we are not going forward with our NY show at Pier 92/94.  Our goal when launching NY was to help unify the market at the behest of our industry retailers, designers, & manufacturers.  Everyone is now wanting different things.  Many of the international brands, high-end collections & accessory resources have chosen to show in hotel rooms, once again or are trying smaller off-shoot shows.  

Due to the fractured nature of the marketplace in New York, the company has made the decision that New York is no longer a viable option for our show. 

We are placing our full focus & enthusiasm on our unified, & results-driven, Chicago Market."
